Hi all,
I was thinking of starting up an indoor dive complex in the northwest of Ireland. Would anyone know if it has been done in Ireland before and please give your thoughts as to whether you thing it would be popular.
I was thinking of something like the nemo33 in Belgium link below.
Heated, different depths for training and such, fairly deep at around 40 meters, gear rental and dive shop.

Hi
mmm
Im not sure to be honest - I would not base my Business Plan on the dive industry alone, but it may be something to consider for other sports also - free diving, diving etc.
If you look at Portroe - it is an inland Dive site, great for training and yet the masses dont seem to be using it
I know people who have gone to nemo33 - to be honest it seemed to be more of a reason to go over and escape the misus for a drink - me id stay and dive here

Hi Tom I would go for a dive shop, training and service center with it. I would leave it open to all aspects of diving and water training. I was thinking of getting a few people together and doing a questionnaire at the dive show in Dublin to hear people's opinions on it
