Headin in the morning to Donegals beautiful sw to glencolmcille with 18 others from our dive club, hopin for 2 tomorrow one night dive and 2 on Sunday and lashings of punch in between. An area i feel thats not dived as much as it should be , maybe its the prevailing southerly aspect of the Bay or the extra 40 minutes beyond St, Johns Pt, who knows.

Sounds the business!

Good look with the DOD spot

I hope the weather is good to you - Im just back last night from 3 weeks in Gran canaria. Depressed although Im really looking forward to some green water diving from all that blue clear stuff!

Where do i start. Sufficient to say that we spent a week diving Valentia and The Skelligs during the summer and the consensus was that Glencolmcille, Rathlin O'Beirne at least matched Co. Kerry . Outstanding 20m gullies , swim-throughs, cave , shoals of fish, amazing amenomy filled walls of superb colour. Did i mention the 25m viz in most places.
Our only problem with this area is that there was another 10 equally impressive dive sites that we had to leave behind us for another day.
Next years club week away could very well be in glorious remote, rugged and jawdropping Glencolmcille
P.S Saw huge sunfish on both days , i'd swear he was the same one if thats possible
