Well when I did my advanced I got into the drysuit and me and the two gallons of water that leaked down my neck had a splendid dive
Needless to say I opted for my trusty wetsuit for the deep dive.
When we got to the bottom of the shot at 26 mtrs in Dublin Bay it was a really errie dark green and our torches looked like light sabers. It was really cool until I looked down to see one of my fins drifting away on the current. Two very nice instructor people retrieved the flipper for the gobshite trainee and, tipping him onto his back, shoved it back on.
Oh, and then there was the text book ascent with the five of us on the shot all stacked horizontally with me in the middle. With about 10 metres to go the pair below me peeled off the line. What were they up to I wondered as they swam away

. Then I noticed the other two that were previously above me also off to one side !!! So there's only yours truely on the line when TAP TAP TAP on my shoulder ...WTF

! - I turned over expecting to see Jaws at least and almost got a smack in the kisser from the 25ltr drum we had manadwd to drag under to 10mtrs
Yeah! Nothing to worry about. It's a piece of cake
