Hi,
I am going to be up in Mayo around Louisburgh in July and was wondering if anyone could recommend any dive centres that will take individual divers?

If not can anyone recommend some good shore divesites up there

Thanks
Denis

Hi Denis
There are no dive centres in mayo but Scubadive west is not far from louisburgh and they will take individual divers and will pair you with a buddy.

There used to be a dive centre at Poulathomas, near Killala. Don't know if it's still operating. I think it's possible to shore-dive at Lacken Pier but it would be advisable to check locally. It might be worth checking out the GrĂ¡inne Uaile SAC website gusac.ie/

Diving is excellent around Mayo if you get the right conditions. Good luck. Twisted Evil Cool

dont think theres any dive operation still down near killala, although you can dive from lacken pier. but to be honest killala would be much further away than scubadive west! louisburgh is just on the opposite side of the mountain!
